THE MARY WALLACE FOUNDATION


Wallace Cancer Care is supported by the Mary Wallace Foundation an independent charity incorporated on 8th April 2003 and recognized by the Charity Commission of England and Wales (Charity number 1099299) with the aim to ‘relieve the suffering and to enhance the quality of life of people who have cancer, their families, carers and others who have been affected thereby’.


This is achieved through the work of Wallace Cancer Care which provides high quality information and practical, psychological and emotional support to those affected by cancer.


The present trustees are:

Lady Chadwyck-Healey is Patron.


The Trustees are supported by an advisory board, which helps review and develop the work of the centre. The advisory board is made up of senior consultants and specialist nurses at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, together with experts in nutrition and complementary care for oncology patients from the University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University and the Christie Hospital.


Close working relationships are maintained with hospital, hospice and community Health Care Professionals involved in a patient’s care.
