I am Mike Vogel .I found Mary Wallace Cancer Care during radiotherapy for prostate cancer last summer and was bowled over not only by the wonderful and exceptional attention I received from the therapists there, but also by the calm and relaxing atmosphere which pervaded the place. I plan to help raise funds for it by doing a sponsored walk from Bedford Hospital to Red Cross Lane, on Saturday, 29th August 2009. My aim of raising £1000 is ambitious, but so is my 9 hour target for 32 miles!
